Why Arnor?

In Tolkien’s mythology, Arnor was home to the Rangers of the North, wandering descendants of the Dunedain who fled to Middle-earth after the sinking of their island kingdom, Numenor, long ago.  These people were like men but had special powers that men did not have.

Ever watchful for the signs of evil, they guarded the peaceful lands within their territory and protected the people and the environment from threat.

Arnor is a name to respect for many reasons, it has honourable objectives and harks back to a golden age.
